Groups for Special Interests

500 Card Group: 

If you enjoy playing cards, we encourage you to join the 500 Card Group! The group meets on every Wednesday of the month at 1:00 pm. Call the Center at (763) 972-0574 to register to play.

Bingo:

Finish the weekdays on a high note by joining us every Friday at 12:35 pm to play bingo! Win cash and fabulous prizes. 

Bridge:

Long-time bridge player? New to the game?. Join us at 1:00 pm on the 2nd and 4th Monday, and on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Call the Center at (763) 972-0574 to register to play.

Chair Yoga:

Who ever thought that yoga and chairs could go together? If this version of yoga intrigues you, consider joining our chair yoga sessions that take place every Wednesday (in person/Zoom) and Friday (Zoom) at 9:15 am on both days.

Chess:

Flex your intellectual skills by joining our chess group that meets every Wednesday at 9:00 am. Drop in – no registration required.

Cribbage:

Can't convince any of your family members to play cribbage with you? Well, you are in luck, because a group of cribbage enthusiasts meet here at the Delano Senior Center every Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am. Drop in to play – bring a board.

Exercise:

Practice exercise at your own pace with this casual and fun group. The exercise group meets Wednesdays and Fridays at 11:20 am, and usually ends at 11:40 am.

Knitters & Crocheters

Do you have a burning desire to create? Grab your needles and yarn and join our Knitters & Crocheters group, which meet every Thursday at 9:00 am sharp (pun intended). 

Line Dancing:

Want to get your groove on? Stop by every Monday in the Council Chambers at 11:00 am for a weekly line dancing session. All skill levels are welcome

Mexican Train Dominoes: 

Anybody who enjoys playing with dominoes the proper way is invited to come play Mexican train dominoes here at the Senior Center! Group sessions take place every Thursday at 1:00 pm. 

Movies:

Never sure what movie to watch next? Well, we make the process easy and choose the movie for you! Movies are shown every Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Activity Room. Admission is free and popcorn is always served!

Texas Hold ‘Em Poker:

Try your luck every Thursday at 1 p.m. for Texas Hold ‘Em! Go “all in” and enjoy this game with friends.
