Proposed "Delano 2040" Comprehensive Plan

The City of Delano is requesting input from the residents of Delano on the 2040 Comprehensive Plan that was proposed at the the joint Planning Commission/City Council meeting on Jan. 8, 2024.

During this past year, members of the City Council, Planning Commission, and staff dedicated their time to review and update the existing plan. As part of the process, the City examined its current development patterns, quality of development, and the impact that growth has had on the City’s ability to provide quality services and utilities. Through this comprehensive plan update, the City also examined its goals, policies, and needs to guide development within the City through the year 2040. The Council and Commission hope to have the final plan ready for approval this March.

Please note that this plan is currently a draft and all community input is encouraged and welcome. Please use the form below to leave any comments. Form submissions will close on Mar. 7, 2024 at 5:00 PM.
