City of Delano Spring Load Restrictions
In another sign of the changing seasons, spring load restrictions go into effect in the City of Delano in the early spring. These restrictions can remain in effect for up to eight weeks, after which the ground is dry enough for roads to carry normal truck loads.
When the ground freezes, a roadway can bear more weight. This means trucks can haul heavier loads than in Spring, when the ground under the road thaws and can leave the road more susceptible to damage from heavy axle weights.

Wright County weight restrictions also go into effect in early Spring. The Wright County Highway Department will announce in advance when the restrictions end.
