In accordance with the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act, the City of Delano is required to inform you of your rights as they pertain to the private information collected from you. Private data is that information which is available to you, but not to the public. The personal information we collect about you is private.
You are not legally required to provide this information; however, providing it may be necessary for City of Delano employees to to follow up with individuals who submit inquiries, requests for service, and comments. You are not required by state law or City Code to answer questions or provide the information requested. However, a refusal to answer questions or provide the information requested will prevent City employees from contacting you with regards to certain complaints.
