Websites and Social Media

Staff develops and maintains the city's website, www.delanomn.gov, working with city departments to promptly post updates. The City of Delano also shares updates on the following social media platforms:

• Instagram

City Publications

The City of Delano creates a monthly newsletter, called the Delano Digest, that is shared digitally on the city website and social media. Monthly newsletters highlight upcoming events, announcements, and commission and council meeting recaps. Print copies are also available at city offices.

Cable Channel 180

Cable Channel 180 is part of the Sherburne Wright Cable Commission, which administers and oversees the cable franchise with cable provider Spectrum Communications. The City of Delano broadcasts the City Council, Planning Commission, and Water, Light, and Power Commission meetings. Meetings are recorded and shared under "media" in the Agenda Center, typically one business day after a meeting.

General Communications

A wide variety of print materials are produced by the communications staff. Many items are mailed directly to homes in order to keep residents informed of important citywide events. 

Technology

Staff provides computer and technology support services to city employees and work with our IT provider, LOGIS, to provide network and software support.
