Permit Application Forms

Prior to a building being constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, moved, or demolished a permit is required. All projects need to pull a permit and submit the necessary plans. Before hiring a contractor, please verify that they have a license and bond from the State of Minnesota. The contractor should pull the required permits for the work that they will be doing. Prior to closing your project, verify that the contractor has scheduled and completed all inspections.

All submitted plans are date stamped when received. Plans will be reviewed in date order in which they are received between the City of Delano and City of Watertown offices combined. Plan review turn around time for residential projects is a minimum of two weeks. Please plan accordingly. Permit applications and plan set can be emailed directly to Building Permits.

Right-of-Way Permits should be submitted directly via email.
