National Night Out is a community event that encourages residents to come together at neighborhood block parties. This encourages people to meet their neighbors, build community, and increase awareness and public safety. Delano takes a neighborhood-centric approach and encourages residents to host for their fellow neighbors. It's a great way to meet others and get involved with your local community! The Wright County Sheriffs Department and the Delano Fire Department make an effort to make an appearance at every registered block party.

- Date: First Tuesday of August - August 5, 2025
- Time: The city recommends to host parties between 6-8 PM. These times can be changed as needed though.
