The City of Delano, Minnesota, is preparing for a celebration in 2026 to mark our Sesquicentennial (150th anniversary), and we want YOU to be part of the festivities!

The planning process is underway, and we’re working on a variety of events and activities that will involve everyone. Whether you're an individual, organization, business, or group, there are many ways you can contribute to making Delano’s 150th a year to remember.

150 Ways to Celebrate
We’re aiming for 150 events in 2026 to celebrate Delano’s anniversary. Whether you hosting an annual event, have a special activity planned, or want to create something new, we encourage you to tie your event into the Sesquicentennial celebration. Consider collaborating with another local group or business to maximize the fun!

Honor your family, business, or a special memory with a personalized brick in the Sesquicentennial Heritage Foot Path at Delano Sculpture Park. For just $150, your brick will be engraved with 3 lines of text that will serve as a lasting tribute to Delano’s 150th year:
