One of the key components of Delano's growth has been the annexation of land from adjacent Franklin Township. The City of Delano has remained cordial throughout the process with the township and has typically annexed property through "orderly annexation." This process begins with a petition to the City followed by meetings with both the Planning Commission and City Council.
